Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Plan

The Chamber's Group Insurance program is available to member firms and their employees, regardless of size.

Membership Referral

Hundreds of referral calls from newcomers, travelers, and citizens are passed on to our members each month. It is our policy to support those businesses that support our organization.

Better Business Service

We accept consumer complaints about our members and attempt to act as mediators in order to secure our members’ reputations and avoid costly legal bills.

Chamber News

Our newsletter is sent to every business in Welland and Pelham. It keeps the membership informed as to what is going on at the Chamber and in the local communities. Advertising is available.

Each month the Chamber of Commerce Communications/Public Relations Committee meets to choose the recipient of the Business of the Month Award. The winner is chosen, based not only on their business know-how, but also on their contribution to the community and the Chamber. It gives the Chamber an opportunity to recognize the hard working business people of our community. In addition, our Annual Awards Celebration has become one of our signature events. Seven awards are presented in the areas of business achievement, community service, and youth involvement.

A number of informative breakfast and lunches are scheduled throughout the year to ensure our membership is well informed on issues that matter to them. Our successful Power Breakfast Series, and our Lunch and Learn Series, are free to members, and are usually sold out venues. In addition our annual Economic Briefing Breakfast, also free to members, provides the membership with a forecast of things to come.

Through various Chamber events, local business people have the opportunity to meet each other and exchange information and business cards. One-on-one promotion is by far the best means of advertising. Members are encouraged to bring their staff to all of our functions. Our Business After Five Program is so popular that we book a year in advance. Our New Members Breakfast is also a great way for members to get to know each other.

Certificate of Origin

The Executive Director of the Chamber can authorize a Certificate of Origin for exporting purposes. Cost to Chamber Members is FREE ($25.00 for Non-Members).

 Special Events

Throughout the year we host a number of special events for our membership. Some of these events include: annual golf tournament, auction, and many other fun filled events.
