Lookout Point Golf and Country Club was buzzing with excitement on Friday October 16th, as nominees, prominent members of the communities and Chamber delegates gathered for the 2015 Ruby Awards Ceremony.
After enjoying live entertainment, local craft beer tastings and mouth-watering treats served up by Lookout’s chefs, guests took their seats to enjoy the awards presentation, where ten lucky nominees would be awarded with a 2015 Ruby Award. With over 60 nominees in total, selecting the award recipients was no easy task. Although only ten trophies were awarded, the Chamber commends all businesses and citizens who were nominated for an award- each and every nominee deserves recognition for their outstanding contributions and dedication to their communities.

Congratulations to all nominees and award recipients!
The Chamber would like to thank all sponsors and contributors of the event. A special thank you goes out to the people who spared their time to nominate the businesses and citizens for this year’s ceremony. The evening is meant to show our appreciation to those who help make Welland and Pelham great places to live and work. Without them, our communities would not be the same, and they are very well deserving of this special recognition. We ask that all members of the community keep this in mind when the nominations open for the 2016 Ruby Awards- let’s show our local community members how much we appreciate their efforts!
